We are pleased to announce that Piotr Węgrzyn, President of the Foundation Board of the Candela Foundation, has been awarded the prestigious title of Honorary Ambassador of Polish Congresses for the years 2022-2023. His nomination is a significant recognition of his contribution to the promotion of Poland on the international arena, as well as highlighting his commitment to exploiting the intellectual potential of Polish academic and scientific centres.
The Chapter of the Polish Congress Ambassadors Programme, composed of prominent personalities from the world of science, culture and business, selected a total of 22 new Ambassadors. The selection ceremony took place on 11 October. This year’s edition of the Programme was special on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, with an emphasis on promoting Poland as a venue for international congresses and conferences.
The activities of the Candela Foundation, in which Piotr Węgrzyn participates, contribute to the development and promotion of Poland in the field of science and education.
