The third edition of the Resonators scholarship program funded by the Candela Foundation has been launched. Resonators is a unique internship programme aimed at talented male and female students from Poland whose research interests revolve around optics and photonics. The 2024 edition offers scholarships for students to cover the cost of relocation for the duration of the internship.

The interns, who will be selected in an open competition, will have the opportunity to complete their internship under the supervision of outstanding specialists from various Polish universities and institutions. These include the University of Warsaw, Wroclaw University of Technology, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun and the Polish Technology Platform for Photonics. A prerequisite for participating in the programme is to complete an internship in a city other than the one in which the student is currently studying.

In addition to the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience, the programme also offers participants a series of specialised training sessions aimed at improving their soft skills – Workshops dedicated to the Scholars are scheduled for October 2024.

The call for applications for the 2024 edition started on 10 January 2024 and will close on 27 February 2024.

The Resonators programme is an excellent opportunity for students interested in optics and photonics to develop their skills and careers in this field. More information about the project, including detailed descriptions of the available internships and the application process, can be found on the page dedicated to the programme.
