Patronage application procedure

Our goal is to support valuable initiatives that contribute to the scientific and interpersonal development of young researchers and respond to the challenges of academic communities.

This section provides detailed information on the steps required to apply for our patronage. We encourage you to review the requirements and guidelines so that we can work together on inspiring projects.

Requirements for Candela’s Patronage:
  • Event Theme – The event must be related to optics and photonics.
  • Location and Organizer – The event takes place in Poland or its main organizer is a Polish organization.
  • Code of Conduct – The event website must include a published Code of Conduct.
  • Organizing/Scientific Committee – The event website must provide information about the individuals involved in organizing the event as part of the organizing or scientific committee.
  • Organizer Information – The event website must include details about the main organizer of the event.
  • Participation Cost – The event website must provide information on participation costs or the possibility of free attendance.
  • Political Neutrality – The event must not have a political character.
Procedure for Applying for Patronage
  1. Submission of the Form: Complete and submit the form available at the link below.
  2. Decision-Making Process: Based on the submitted information, the Board of Candela will decide whether to grant (or deny) patronage.
  3. Notification of Decision: The applicant will be informed of the decision via email, sent to the address provided in the form.
  4. In the Case of a Positive Decision:
    1. The applicant must include the foundation’s logo on the event’s webpage.
    2. The applicant must provide the foundation with promotional materials related to the event.
    3. Once the above information is received, the foundation will include details about the event in:

    5. The foundation’s website
