Polish Technological Platform on Photonics

Dr. Eng. Adam Piotrowski is a CEO of Vigo Systems – a world leader in infrared optical detectors, and a head of Polish Technological Platform on Photonics.

Adam Piotrowski received his master’s degree in 2002 from the Warsaw University of Technology. In 2008 he completed his PhD at the Military University of Technology. He started his professional career as detector technology engineer in Vigo Systems. In 2003-2006 he moved to MOCVD division within VIGO, soon becoming a head of the group. In 2008-2014 he served as a head of detectors division in VIGO. 

Adam Piotrowski supports Candela Foundation as a member of the Foundation Council, where he represents the perspective of polish photonics industry and brings the unique experience of the growing technological company.
