On 25 February 2021, the Foundation obtained an entry in the National Court Register and formally began its activities. Yes, today marks the two-year anniversary of the Candela Foundation. During this time we have implemented the following projects / events / initiatives: Resonators Scholarship and Internship Programme, Photonics Aid For Ukraine, Polish Optics Conference 2022, Workshop on Cold Hybrid Ion-atom Systems, Siegman International School on Lasers, International Conference On Precision Physics of Simple Atomic Systems and Polish Newsletter on Optics and Photonics.

More importantly, however, we have established exciting new collaborations that will result in further ambitious projects. We will successively inform about them in our social media and in the Polish Newsletter of Optics and Photonics, which is prepared with the support of our partner organisation, the Polish Technological Platform on Photonics- #PPTF.
